Uttar Pradesh (UP), located in northern India, is the country’s most populous state and one of its most historically and culturally rich regions. Street foods like chaat from Varanasi, peda from Mathura, petha from Agra, and malaiyo in winter are local delicacies that define UP’s culinary charm. The eastern parts favor litti chokha and sattu paratha, while western UP enjoys rich dairy-based dishes.

Festivals like Diwali, Holi, Eid, and Ram Navami are celebrated with grandeur, reflecting the state’s unity in diversity.
